Obituary
Ginger Yancey Groover, age 62 of Carolina Shores, NC, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at SECU Hospice House in Bolivia, NC.
Ginger was born in Halifax County, VA on June 8, 1961 to Rufus and Georgia Smith Yancey.
Ginger liked to fish and go on cruises with her sisters. She had worked at Food Lion and Walgreens as well as sitting for children in her home. She was a member of Beach Assembly of God Church in Ocean Isle.
She is survived by her husband: Richard Groover; children: Dexter Snow, Cody Snow, Jacob Groover, Jennifer Mason; siblings: Andy Yancey, Gail West, Yvette Rice and 9 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Beach Assembly of God, 20 Bliss Road NW Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469.
