Obituary
Holly B. Hudy (Murphy), 55, of Leland, NC died on November 10, 2016. Holly was born in France and raised in Vestal, NY. She has lived in many states throughout her lifetime, and recently moved to North Carolina.
Holly is predeceased by her parents, Marilyn and Michael Murphy.
Surviving are her children, Daniel and Meaghan Hudy, who were the light of her life; siblings Matthew Murphy, Michael Murphy, and Lynn O’Brien; and many nieces and nephews.
Holly loved her children with all her heart and was incredibly proud of them. When she wasn’t at home caring for her children she was a proud nurse who cared for nothing more than the well-being and happiness of her patients.
A memorial ceremony will be held at Mary Mother of God church in Scranton, PA on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00am.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charity in her name.
