Alan Wayne Potter, 62, Wilmington, NC died July 17, 2021.
Born in New Hanover County on July 30, 1958, he was a son of the late David Carlton Potter and Betty Gause Potter.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marine Service serving as an Unlimited Wiper in the Steward’s Department.
Surviving are his daughter, Niki Neumann and Kimberly Lawrence, both of Jacksonville, NC; two brothers, Gary Potter (Stephanie Ann), Bolivia, NC and Greg Potter, Wilmington, NC; a grandchild, Aaliyah Neumann.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Wilmington, NC.
