Alice Louise Newmeyer, 80, of Charlotte, NC died on Friday, February 28, 2020.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ on November, 21, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Henry Morehouse and Florence Belter Morehouse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Newmeyer.
She was a retired Registered Nurse.
Surviving are her sons, Kenneth Steup, Randolph, NY, Donald Steup, Verona, NJ, and Jeffrey Steup (Christine), Charlotte, NC; daughters, Barbara Newmeyer, Charlotte, NC, Maureen Newmeyer (Kenneth), Yonkers, NY, Linda Newmeyer-McRae (Bruce), Apex, NC, Joann N. Barros (Glen), Nashville, TN, and Jamie N. Litty (Michael), Laurinburg, NC, and thirteen grandchildren.
A mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10:30 AM in St. Brendan, the Navigator Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
