Obituary
Allan O’Brien Holden, 67, of Varnamtown died Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
He was born February 4, 1954, a son of the late Archie O’Brien Holden and Julia Lancaster Holden of Supply.
He was a member of Gospel Center Chapel and he also attended Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his sister, Susan Holden of Supply; Uncles, Eugene Lancaster (Gale), Tex Holden (Rose), and Cortland Varnam (Bobbie) all of Supply; Great Aunts, Virginia Norton of Shallotte; a niece; a nephew; and many cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Monday, April 26, 2021, at Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church by The Rev. Bill Negron and The Rev. Mark Smith. Manny Negron will be greeter.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in Georgetown Holden Cemetery in Supply.
Casket Bearers will be Robert Kelley, Ryan Lancaster, Chris Lancaster, Nathan Swain, Billy Bryan, and John David Dawson. Honorary casket bearers will be Ennis Swain, Rick Andrews, Maurice Galloway, and Dennis Brady.
The family extends special thanks to Marti Laws for twenty-one years of loving care and to all the staff (Station 2) at Brunswick Cove Nursing Center.
