Allen Neff

Allen Neff went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2018. He resided in Ocean Isle Beach and died at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born September 15, 1937, in Palmerton PA, son of the late Robert and Arlene Neff. For 59 years, he was the loving husband of Janet R. Neff. Survivors are son, Gregory Neff of Glen Burnie, MD, and daughter, Terri Aisquith of Davidsonville, MD; two grandchildren, Heather Neff of Winter Garden, FL, and James Aisquith, of Davidsonville, MD, one great grandson, Landon. Sisters, Geraldine Arner and Eleanor Drumbore, both of Lehighton, PA, and Judith Neff of Glendale, AZ, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by brother, Robert Neff and two sisters, Elda Stettler and Ada Roberts.

Mr. Neff lived in Davidsonville, MD for 38 years. He moved to Ocean Isle Beach, NC in 1999, and became a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Ocean Isle Beach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Also a member of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department, retiring in 1983.

For years, he enjoyed playing softball and played in the MD Senior Olympics. He was also an avid model train collector and belonged to numerous train collector organizations. Later in life, he developed an interest in coin collecting.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Luke Lutheran Church, 5869 Ocean Highway W, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469; and/or American Heart Association, Memorial and Tribute Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060

Funeral Arrangements will be private and in Pennsylvania.
