Ann Cerise Wiltbank

Ann Cerise Wiltbank, 71, of Calabash, NC died on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.

Ann was born in Bowie, MD on July 22, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Harold Coburn and Cerise Hart Coburn.

Ann graduated from Duvall High School in Lanham, Maryland. She was the Vice President/Manager of the customer service department at Maryland Federal Savings Bank for 20 plus years until her retirement.

She was a resident of Brunswick Plantation, Calabash, North Carolina for the past 19 years. She was a member of Seaside United Methodist Church, Sunset Beach, NC which she was a very active volunteer of the country fair, the welcome desk, the food pantry, and her passion was the Seaside S.T.A.R.S. reading program for the children.

Ann gave of herself in many ways and will be missed by everyone she touched with her infectious smile, her open arms when anyone needed a hug, her warm heart and most of all her selflessness for others, and her love of the Lord.

Ann is survived by her husband and best friend for 32 wonderful years, Robert John Wiltbank; their two children, Kevin Wiltbank (wife Ashlee) of Carolina Shores, NC, and Christie Palmroos (husband Erik) of Hewitt, NJ. Ann has four grandchildren who were the light of her life, Kody and Brooke Wiltbank of Montana, Reaghan and Austin (AJ) of Carolina Shores, NC; sister-in-law, Joan Tomasello, also of Brunswick Plantation; brother-in-law Raymond Wiltbank (wife Wanda) of Brunswick Plantation.

A memorial service will be held on August 5, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Seaside United Methodist Church by the Reverend Stephanie Riley.

The S.T.A.R.S. literacy program at Seaside United Methodist Church for local children in need of help with reading skills (300 Seaside Rd., Sunset Beach, NC 28468) or The North Myrtle Beach Christian School (9535 Hwy 90, Longs, SC 29568, where her grandchildren attend school.
