Obituary
Anne L Doern, 89, of Sunset Beach NC died Thursday September 19, 2024.
Born in Robeson County, NC on November 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Emory Lovett and Beulah Pridgen Lovett.
She was a member of Seaside United Methodist Church and was an active member of the music ministry there. She sang in the choir, performing with quartets, duets, and as a soloist.
Anne traveled with her husband to many countries, and she loved working in the churches where they lived. Even after retirement they traveled back to Japan for many years to assist in their Christmas out-reach program.
Surviving is her husband, Kenneth L Doern; one son, Benny Enzor (Teresa Humphrey Enzor), one daughter, Lynn Enzor (Edwin Lynn Styers) as well as four grandsons: Ron Sutphin, Jr. (Mamie), Matthew Enzor (Jennifer), John Enzor (Dana), William Sutphin; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Seaside United Methodist Church.
