Anthony “Inky” DeSarno, 76, of Southport, NC, passed away on September 1, 2025.

Born June 13, 1949, Inky lived a life filled with loyalty, love, and endless energy. He devoted himself to his family, friends, and his golf game, touching countless lives along the way.

Inky is survived by his beloved wife, Janice; his daughter, Jillian Kristick, and son-in-law, Kevin Kristick, of Myrtle Beach; his son, Anthony DeSarno, of San Diego; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael DeSarno and William DeSarno, wife, Anne, and his sister-in-law, Jane DeSarno. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Camilla DeSarno, and his brother, Robert DeSarno.

Friends and family will remember Inky for his easygoing nature that made him such a joy to be around.

A service to honor Inky’s life will be held at The Homer E. Wright Event Center (St. James) on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10 am.
