Obituary
Aubrey Eugene Newton, 75, of Supply, NC died April 26, 2017.
Born in Concord, NC on November 5, 1941 he was a son of the late Junior Eddelmon Newton and Esther Griffin Newton.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired security officer at Sunny Point MOTU.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Sellers Newton; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Newton-Lazzarino and Gian Lazzarino of Durham, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Jim Newton and Lynn Newton of Winston Salem, NC; and sister, Carol Horton of Concord, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service officiated by the Reverend Wayne Tuttle. Burial will follow in the Galloway Cemetery, West. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
Casketbearers will be Michael Lynn Sellers, Michael Seller, Sr., Anthony Harrison, Rick Warford, Adam Sellers, and Kyle Sellers. Honorary casketbearers will be Judd Ward, Thom Arnold, and coworkers of Sunny Point MOTU.
