Obituary
Audrey E. Carson, 83, of Bolivia, NC, died Friday, October 20, 2017. Born in Medford, MA on October 18, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Keith A. Gavel and Hazel Dimick Gavel. She was a retired secretary in the Norfolk, MA Public School System and a member of Camp United Methodist Church, Shallotte, NC.
Surviving are her husband, Paul W. Carson; sons, Keith A. Bilodeau (Janice), Eastline, CT, J. Michael Carson (Brenda), Port St. Lucie, FL and Douglas W. Carson (Dancia), Anderson, SC; daughters, Donna M. Mabey, Attleboro, MA, Diane L. Bilodeau-Hatfield (Joshua), East Greenwich, RI, and Anita L. Tucker (Jeffrey) Belmont, MA; sister, Shirley Hasenfus (John), Needham, PA; ten grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Funeral and interment will be conducted in Oklahoma City on November 18, 2017 under the direction of Smith-Turner Mortuary, 201 E. Main Street, Yukon, OK 73095.
Locally the family will receive friends from Brunswick Funeral Service, Southport/Oak Island Chapel, on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
Memorials may be directed to Camp United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4807 Main Street, Shallotte, NC 28470 in Mrs. Carson’s memory.
