Obituary
Aurelia “Honey” Gruzlewski, 82, of Shallotte passed away on March 28, 2018, after a brief illness. We will remember her gifts of generosity and kindness to her family and others. She was active at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, serving as Eucharist minister and on several committees. She was a member of several Canasta and Bridge groups, and enjoyed traveling, especially cruising. She enjoyed golfing and most recently she joined the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard John Gruzlewski; son Paul Gruzlewski (Marianne); daughters, Marie Marawi (Isam) and Nancy Schmitt (Joe); brother, William Capella (Regina); nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Tuesday, April 3, at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
