Obituary
Ava Lee Carlisle, 91, of Supply, NC died Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
Ava was born in Brunswick County on April 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Joe and Lydia Clemmons McDonald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, J.B. Carlisle.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy Carlisle, of Shallotte, Ray Carlisle (Libby), and Gary Carlisle, all of Supply; daughters, Janice Maruszak (Greg), and Teresa White (Steve), all of Supply; sister, Delphia Carlisle, Wilmington, and a total of twenty-seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Oceanview Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Friday, June 22, 2018 in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, and at other times at her residence.
