Barbara Ann Fody, 88, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born in Floral Park, NY on August 26, 1937, she was the date of the late John Thaddeus Mackowiak and Ethel Schlicher Mackowiak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Joseph Fody.
Surviving is her sons, Chip (Regina) Fody and Dean (Lynda) Fody; daughters, Therese Langan and Aimee (Dennis) McGarth; sister Judith O’Kula and seven grandchildren.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:00pm in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel to honor and celebrate the life of Barbara.
