Barbara Elizabeth Rice McDonnell of Boiling Spring Lakes passed away on 9/16/2022. She was born in Greensboro, NC and moved to Brunswick County in the early 70’s. She was employed by S. LaRose, Inc; Brown & Root; and later worked as a legal secretary. She loved her family, her pets, and her plants.
She is survived by her children: Michelle Powers of Boiling Spring Lakes; Benjamin Powers of Wilmington; grandson, Taylor Powers of Wilmington; and companion, Mark Arwood. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Cody Mintz.
