Obituary
Barbara Hurst Healy, 83, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Born in Parkersburg, WV on March 9, 1934 a daughter of the late Robert Marion Seyler and Ann Smith Seyler. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, John “Ted” Hurst; sister, Charlotte Healy and brothers, Robert and Richard Seyler.
She was a member of the Bricklanding Ladies Association and a volunteer at St. Brendan Catholic Church Food Pantry and was a retired dental receptionist.
Surviving are her husband, William J. Healy, Jr.; sons, John T. Hurst, II (Linda)of South Bend, IN, Jeffrey Todd Hurst (Stephanie) of Bonito Springs, FL, James T. Hurst of Bonito Springs, FL, Michael Healy (Maureen) of Clifton Park, NY and James Healy of Wilmington, NC; daughters, J. Terri Fortin (Doug) of Hingham, MA, Kathy Bost (Jeffrey) of Allison Park, PA and Mary Godfrey (Don) of Rahway, NJ; brothers, John Seyler of Wilmington, NC and William Seyler of Poland, OH; sisters, Margaret Huck of Lowell, OH, Linda DeBusk of Mooresville, NC and Jennifer Fryman of Marietta, OH; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A mass will be celebrated Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Brendan, The Navigator Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Brunswick Funeral Service.
