Billie Jane Mitchell, 88 of Shallotte, NC died Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Born in Kannapolis, NC on January 12, 1931, a daughter of the late William and Ruby White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Mitchell, Jr., and a daughter, Jill Mitchell.
She was a graduate of Rockwell High School in Rockwell, North Carolina.
Surviving are two sons, Jamie Mitchell (Susan), Monticello, GA, and Guy Mitchell (Gayle), Calabash, NC; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, NC.
