Bobbie “Keith” Brown, 85, died December 28, at Coastal Pointe Memory Care Center in Shallotte, NC. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, George Marion and Anita “Dolly” Brown, and son Greg Brown. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, brothers, Charlie and Jim Brown as well as children Steve Brown, Kelly Turner and Lisa Corley and three grandchildren.
Keith was born and raised in Union, MO. As an adult he made his home in Ponte Vedra, FL and Tuckasegee, NC. Keith's professional career took him from the roadways of Missouri to the Real Estate Markets of Jacksonville Beach, FL. In later years, he found his place at Harrah’s Cherokee where he brought luck and served hot dogs to delighted patrons.
Keith loved his home in the North Carolina Mountains and spent many happy years working around the house and enjoying the stunning views. He valued his travels with family and often spoke of his time in Indonesia, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Hong Kong, Alaska and the Caribbean. Keith lived a happy and fulfilling life and often told others just how wonderful life is.
Arrangements are being handled by Brunswick Funeral Service, Southport, NC.
The family held a private Celebration of Life.
