Obituary
Carmela D. Kane, 86 of Sunset Beach, NC died January 14, 2023 surrounded by her family and her amazing caregivers who made it possible for her to be loved and cared for in the comfort of her home.
Born in Newell, WV she was a daughter of the late Anthony Mangano and Genoveffa Catrini Mangano. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husbands, Harry Duncan and Patrick Kane and a son Harry Duncan, II.
Surviving are her daughters, Pamela Batchelor (Currie) of Calabash, NC and Deborah Miller (Richard) of Salisbury, NC; daughter-in-law, Lydia Duncan of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; grandchildren, Christa Miller and Jacob Yount.
Services will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carmela's honor to: Lower Cape Fear Hospice (Brunswick House) 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
