Obituary
Carole Galovich, 78, of Brunswick County, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
She was born in Central Falls, RI to the late Albert and Eva Plante Servant. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis; and a son, Ronald.
She was an active member of St. Brendan Catholic Church serving over the years as a eucharistic minister, a volunteer in the food pantry, and a member of the choir. She was involved in numerous charities and a true servant of the community having volunteered at Brunswick Hospital for many years.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Raymond; daughters, Deborah Kenney and husband Darryl, Judy Hargey and husband Albert; grandchildren, Seth, Taryn, Heather, Daniel; and three greatgrandchildren.
A mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 9am in St Brendan Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made in Mrs. Galovich’s name to the Christian Appalachian Project, PO Box 5911, Lexington, KY 40555 or The SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
The family would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Galovich’s Caregivers and the staff of the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
