Obituary
Caroline Joan Piconi of Calabash, N.C., died peacefully at the age of 81 on Saturday, December 16th, 2023. She was born on July 27th, 1942 in Queens, N.Y.
Caroline was predeceased by parents Salvatore and Concetta Bruno, Sister Beatrice Goedel, Brother Giacomo Bruno and husband Stephen Piconi.
Caroline is survived by Daughters: Lisa Marano and Stephanie Keena, Son-in-Laws: Joseph Marano and Michael Keena, Grandsons :Nicholas, Jack, Stephen, Vincent, Patrick and Maximos; and Sister: Rachel Lynch.
Caroline was a devoted Catholic who loved her family immensely and would do anything for her family and friends. She was the most amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church: 5101 Ocean Highway W. Shallotte, NC 28470 at 10AM.
