Carolina Stella (LaMarca) Mulling 97, of North Carolina (formally of New Jersey), was called home on October 23, 2024 to join her devoted husband of 62 years John, who entered the home of our loving God in 2010. Caroline was greeted in heaven by her son-in-law Tom Reynolds, her parents and brothers and sisters.

Carolina was born on March 1, 1927 in Newark, NJ. She and her husband raised their six daughters in Newark, NJ and Hopatcong, NJ. They later retired to Whiting, NJ and Caroline relocated to Southport, NC in 2010.

Carolina worked at Western Electric in Kearney, NJ where she met her husband John. She later worked in the Hopatcong School District as an aide. While in NJ she was very active in the Church and was also a member of social organizations including AT&T Pioneers Club, W.E.R.A. and the Whiting Italian Club.

Carolina is survived by her daughters - Laura Smith (Southport, NC), Deborah Reynolds (Southport, NC), Carol Stephans (Bolivia, NC), Claudia Manno (Sandyston, NJ), Lysa Martinelli (Branchburg, NJ), and Melanie Schueller (Aberdeen, NJ).  She is also survived by her Sons-In-Law - Brian Smith, Bob Stephans, Phil Manno, Joe Martinelli, Andrew Schueller, her Grandchildren - Chad Reynolds (Jodi), Ian Reynolds (Hilliary), Kyle Smith (Jeni), David Stephans (Melissa), Rick Walicki, Shane Smith (Brittany), Joseph Martinelli (Kelsey), Olivia Schueller, Alex Schueller, and her twelve Great-Grandchildren.

Carolina is also pre-deceased by her parents Giovanni LaMarca and Maria Stella (Ragusa) LaMarca, her brothers Vincenzo LaMarca, Giovanni LaMarca, Carmello LaMarca, Giuseppe LaMarca and sisters Francesca Rinato, Graziella Bajkowsky, and Antonietta Savia.

Interment will be at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ.
