Obituary
Charles Hooper “Bucky” Reeves, 75, of Calabash, NC died Thursday, August 10, 2017.
Born in Columbus County, NC on July 26, 1942 he was a son of the late Burqueen Reeves and Alice Rogers Reeves.
He was a retired commercial fisherman and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
Surviving are his son, Jason; daughter, Angie; brother, Rev. Dwight Reeves of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; sisters, Faye Hewett of Holden Beach, NC and Carolyn Schreiber of Calabash, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, NC. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
