Obituary
Charlie James McKeithan, 91, of Ash died August 13, 2022. He was born in Brunswick County on October 5, 1930, a son of Willie Dace McKeithan and Mable Carlisle McKeithan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy, and brothers, Lloyd McKeithan and Doug McKeithan. He was a hardworking, caring and compassionate man with an abundance of friends.
Surviving are his sons, Charles James “Pete” McKeithan (Wanda Denise), W. D. “Stubb” McKeithan (Jean), Billy McKeithan, and Jackie Dale “Yogi” McKeithan; brother, Paul McKeithan (Earlene); eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and three great great granchildren.
Services will be conducted from the graveside at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, in Griffin Cemetery, Ash, NC, by The Rev. William Chappell.
