Obituary
Charlotte Ann Lytle Sweeney, age 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Lee Sweeney, married 47 years, the loving mother of Ken Sweeney (Bev) of Lima, Ohio, and Carol Sweeney Monahan (John) of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is also survived by her brother Charles Thomas Lytle of Parkersburg, West Virginia. In addition to her husband and parents (Ralph and Carrie Lytle), she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis John, and brother Foster Martin Lytle.
Charlotte was a caring wife and mother, and loved her profession as a Registered Nurse. She trained at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and her career spanned 30 years working in Lima, Ohio and Charlotte, North Carolina. She was very active in the United Methodist Church. She loved gardening, reading and sharing a laugh with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Brunswick Memorial Gardens 5229 Ocean Hwy W., Shallotte, NC. A Celebration of Life will take place later this year, for which family and friends will be later notified.
