Obituary
Clifford Ralph Stalter, age 68, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Winston-Salem, NC on May 7, 1952 the son of the late, Maynard Raymond Stalter and Gloria Ann Vondran Stalter and was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Evert and a brother, Skip Stalter.
Mr. Stalter was an active member of the Sandpiper Golf Country Club. He was past President of the Flat Rock Play House in Flat Rock, NC and a former Flight Instructor and former owner of a flight School. He was very active in the Ironman Marathon Competition.
Surviving are his wife of forty-four years, RoseMary Byrd Stalter of the home; a sister, Susan Hensley of Greensboro, NC; nieces, Sharon Honeycutt, Sarah Farrell, Lydia Thomas, Amy Petrain and Anna Stalter; one nephew, Brad Hassell; one grandnephew; three grandnieces; one great-grandnephew; two brother-in-law’s, Albert Byrd and Tim Byrd; and a special pet named, “Princess.”
A celebration of Mr. Stalter’s life will be held at a later date.
