Obituary
Corinne Marie Ders DuBay, age 71 of Oak Island, NC died Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her home.
Corinne was born in Syracuse, NY on May 23, 1953, to John and Isabel Barnes Ders.
Corinne loved being in her garden, walking the beach, and hiking. She was an avid pickleball player and quilter. Corinne was a public school teacher for 43 years and a certified reflexologist.
Corinne is survived by her husband of 51 years: Paul R. DuBay, sons: Chase DuBay and Shane DuBay, and daughters-in-law: Monica Ford and Daniela Palmer Droguett; one brother: Bob Ders; one sister: Jackie Van Buren; and her Grand dog: Jojen.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Brunswick Funeral Service 3479 Southport-Supply Road Bolivia, NC 28422.
A reception will follow at the family home on Oak Island.
The family welcomes donations to the National Park Conservation Association (www.npca.org) as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
