Danny Mitchell Babson, 72, Ash, NC died Saturday, September 15, 2018.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on October 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Newman L. Babson and Myrlie Simmons Babson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, William A. “Bunny” Babson, Norvan Babson, and a sister, Jane Carol Powell.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Faircloth Babson; son, Matthew “Matt” Babson (Kristine), Ash, NC; daughter, Julie Myers (Charles), Myrtle Beach, SC; brothers, Harold Babson (Jettie), Nakina, NC, and Darius Babson (Stella), Ash, NC; grandchildren, Chloey, Ava, Neil, Danielle, Rachel, and Natalie; sister-in-law, Shirley Babson of Bolivia, NC and Jean Babson of Old Dock, NC; several nieces and nephews; Danny's cat Tilly
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Babson Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation one hour prior.
