Darwin Hyman Scher, 94, Shallotte, NC, formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC died November 24, 2022.
Born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI on May 25, 1928, he was a son of the late Joseph Scher and Rose Saperstein Scher. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five siblings and two children, Mark Wilson and Patsy Wilson.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and prior to retirement in 1985, he was employed by the Department of the U.S. Air Force as a Personnel Management Specialist.
Surviving are his wife Treva Matthews Scher; daughter, Sandra (Sandy) Parker (Randy), Shallotte, NC; son, Mike Wilson (Jennifer Long), Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Lindy, Nicole, Jessica, Aaron, Grant (Meghan); great-grandchildren, Parker, Zachary, Serenity, Harmony, Olivia and Anthony (AJ).
