David Ashman Cribbs

David Ashman Cribbs, Sr., 84, of Carolina Shores, NC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

David was born on October 26, 1941, in Lorain, OH, a son of the Chalmer Cribbs and Ida Ashman Cribbs. 

David was a stationary engineer for BF Goodrich.  He enjoyed boating starting with his time in the Navy.  He also enjoyed maritime photography, collecting, scrapbooking, and was an avid fan of all the Cleveland sports teams. David is a veteran on the United States Navy.

David is survived by his wife Betty Barnes Walters; a son David A. Cribbs, Jr. (Stacey); a daughter Laura Kovach (Steve); and a grandson Justin Cribbs.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11:00AM in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel officiated by the Reverend Roger Carr.
