Obituary
David Harrelson, 65, of Sunset Beach died September 2, 2016 after a short illness. He was a son of Foster Harrelson and Ila Williams Harrelson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Harrelson, and his brothers, Bobby Harrelson and Ronnie Harrelson.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Jean Harrelson; daughter Kristy Schroeder of Bradenton, FL; son, Bill Abshire of Bradenton, FL; sister, Barbara Reavis of Leland; grandchildren Michael Schroeder, Kaitlyn Schroeder, Jordana Schroeder, John Wade Abshire and Christopher Abshire; and nephews, Gregory Reavis and Wesley Sasser.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 6, from Beach Assembly Church by The Rev. John Chase. Burial will be in Brunswick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM, Monday, September 5, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte.
