Obituary
David Raeford Tripp, Sr., 81 of Ash, NC, died December 20, 2018.
Born in Robeson County, NC on April 26, 1937, he was a son of the late Leon L. Tripp and Ruth Huff Tripp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Grainger Tripp, and brothers, Eugene and Lacy Tripp.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was formerly employed by Brunswick Tractor Company, and a retired farmer.
Surviving are sons, David R. Tripp, Jr. (Abigael), Ash, NC, and Walter Tripp (Sharon), Jacksonville, NC; four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Beach Assembly of God, Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Smith Family Cemetery.
