Born in Grand Junction, CO on March 21, 1944, he was a son of the late Earl Bennett and Verna Nelson Bennett.
Surviving are his wife, Sara Lee Lurvey Bennett; son, Greg Bennett, Long Beach, CA; daughter, Deana Blaisdell (Drew), Thousand Oaks, CA, and brother, Dale Bennett.
Services will be held in Grand Junction, CO.
