Denise Louise Stokes, 65, Calabash, NC died March 1, 2022.
Born in Harrisburg, PA on June 14, 1956, she is a daughter of Ina Margaret “Peggy” Kirkwood Wilt, Lititz, PA and the late Benjamin Wilt. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin Wilt.
Surviving are her husband, George C. Stokes; daughters, Erin Marsala, Charleston, SC and Shelly Sweatt (Edward), Woodbury, CT; son, Seth Hayes (Melissa), Cary, NC; brother, David Wilt, Lititz, PA; sister, Debra Bard (Robert), Mt. Joy, PA; and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zoe.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Denise to Carolina Cancer Foundation, Coastal Cancer Center, 8121 Rourk Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
