Diane Russini, 59, Calabash, NC died on November 8, 2020.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 21, 1961, she was a daughter of Joan McCaustlin O’Neill and the late Arthur Timothy Houlihan.
She retired from the New York Police Department and was a first responder at the World Trade Center Disaster. She was a member of the retired law enforcement group known as the Carolina Border Shields, and was a member of the Golf and Bowling Teams.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her children, Zachary Russini, Seaford, NY, Donna Russini and Danielle Russini, both of Calabash, NC; brothers, Christopher Houlihan (Joan), Rock Hill, SC and David Houlihan (Patty), Patchogue, NY; a sister, Donna Houlihan, Palm Springs, CA, and a grandson, Anthony Sand.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Masks and social distancing will be observed.
