Our Patriarch, Donald Nelson Moore, Sr., 89, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family, as he had wished. He died from complications related to Alzheimer’s disease.

Born and raised in Whiteville, North Carolina, Don was a devoted Sales Executive who lived in several cities throughout his life, including Raleigh, Greenville, SC, the Dallas metro area, and the Atlanta metro area, before settling in North Myrtle Beach, where he made his final home.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly Davis Moore, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, joy, and adventure.

He is survived by his four children: Wendy Moore White, Leslie Moore Johnson, Donald Nelson Moore Jr., and Elizabeth Moore Kuchan (“Pidge”), as well as by Beverly’s sister, Beth Davis Parker, whom Don and Beverly lovingly welcomed into their family after the passing of her parents.

He is also survived by the following extended family of loved ones from spouses to grand children to great grandchildren:

• Leslie’s family: Children Laurie (Josh), David, and Tracey (Brad), and granddaughter Josephine.
• Don’s family: Wife Kyong Hui “Maria”, and son Sean (Rachel), with grandchildren William and Charlotte.
• Pidge’s family: Husband Eric and their children Tyler, Garrett (Haleigh), and Anna (fiancé Parker).

Dad will be remembered for his love of family, his professional accomplishments, and the warm, caring presence he was in the lives of all who knew him.

All are invited to a Life Celebration for Dad on Saturday, September 27^th from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Brunswick Funeral Service located at 5229 Ocean Highway West, Shallotte, NC 28470,  (910-754-6363).  

The family will have a private burial at Whiteville Cemetery.
