Donnie Lee Kirby, 79, of Supply, NC died Monday, November 6, 2023.
Born in Brunswick County, he was a son of the late Harlee Kirby and Mary Madgalene Hewett Kirby Dixon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Larry Kirby.
He retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation after 29 years of service and was a member of Oceanview Pentecostal Church.
Surviving is his wife Helen Marie Clemmons Kirby, daughters Tammy K. Bradsher and Cindy K. Hewett (Ricky) all of Supply, NC; brothers Bobby Kirby (Debbie) and Jimmy Kirby (Evette) all of Supply, NC; grandchildren Amanda (Travis), Andrew, Cody (Heidi), Tyler (Ashley), and Bethany; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Sophia, Mason, and Elliott.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Ocean View Pentecostal Church, 1738 Stanbury Rd SW, Supply, NC 28462. Burial will follow in Sharon Methodist Church Cemetery, 2030 Holden Beach Rd SW, Supply, NC 28462.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church and at other times from the residence.
