Obituary
Doris Anna Mihal, 89, of Ocean Isle Beach, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
A daughter of the late Leonard and Anne Specht, she was born on May 30, 1929 in Old Forge, PA. She moved to Brunswick County in 2012 from Boonton, NJ. She was a registered nurse who worked until she was 70 years old.
In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her loving husband Michael Mihal who passed away in 2011 and daughter Elaine Mihal Thomson who passed away in 2007.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Mihal and wife Judy; daughters, Michelle Egarian and husband Dave, DeniseMihal; brother, Leonard Specht and wife Roberta; sisters, Jean Specht, Mary Scaglione; grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffery, Kimberly, Nathan; Great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Farrah; and many nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church at 10am.
In lieu of flowers of flowers donations can be made to the Brunswick Medical Center Foundation, 240 Hospital Dr NE, Bolivia, NC 28422.
The family would like to thank the staff and residence of Arbor Landing and Brunswick Medical Center.
