Obituary
Dwight Hilliard Patton, age 86 died Sunday, March 3, 2024, at his home in Bolivia, NC.
Dwight was born on March 21, 1937, in Craigmont, ID to Hilliard and Katherine Kasper Patton.
Dwight spent over 40 years as a dedicated Special Education teacher in Connecticut. He retired 17 years ago and moved to Bolivia, NC. He is preceded in death by his wife: Mary Rose Patton.
Dwight is survived by his son: Peter Patton (Catherine) of NY, NY; daughter: Melissa hardy of Safety Harbor, FL, grandchildren: Paul, Eleanor, Molly, Kaitlin, Erin; one sister: Mary Ringwood of Spokane, WA and 10 nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held on at Noon, on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport, NC and interment will follow in the church Columbarium.
Memorial donations may be made to Brunswick County Animal Services PO Box 92 Supply NC 28462.
