Obituary
Edith “Mawmaw” Coppley, 80, of Shallotte, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018.
She was born on June 5, 1938 in Guilford Co. to the late William and Mamie Cable. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching game shows and her daughter, Renee, playing softball. She would spend time coloring pictures with her grandchildren, and loved to take selfies with her granddaughter, Bella.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Renee Tilley and husband Doug of Shallotte; daughter in-law, Mona Coppley Beck of Winston Salem; brother, George Cable and wife Linda of Brown Summit; sisters, Sara Johnson of McLeansville, Becky Knight and husband Paul of Greensboro, Margaret Apple and husband Robert of Greensboro; grandchildren, Adam Coppley, Lauren Tilley, and Landon Tilley; great grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Ashlyn, Isabella, and Ivi.
A celebration of life will be held at the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 3:00pm.
