Edwin William Jarrell, Sr. 90, Shallotte, NC died October 10, 2021.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on August 6, 1931 a son of the late Daniel Jarrell and Lula Reeves Jarrell. In addition to his parents and all his siblings, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Jarrell and son, David Jarrell.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a retired postal carrier, having 33 years of service with the U. S. Postal Service. He was also a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his son Edwin Jarrell, Jr., daughter Diana Fischer (Tracy), and grandson, Adam Fischer.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm from the graveside in Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
