Obituary
Edwina Shute Snyder, 91, formerly of Calabash, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
Born in Mount Vernon, NY on April 13, 1926, she was a daughter to the late Edgar and Edwina Shute. She is also predeceased by husband, Robert Snyder.
Surviving are a son, Meade Edward Palmer, Jr and Lynn, of Alexandria, LA; daughters, Edwina Linn Palmer Morrison, of Baton Rouge, LA, and Patricia Louise “Patty” Palmer Johnson and Dale, of Otis, LA; a brother, Edgar G.A. Shute, Jr of Mt Vernon, NY; sister, Jessie S. Degenhardt of Red Hook, NY; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00am at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens in Little River, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St Luke Lutheran Church Building Fund, 5869 Ocean Hwy W, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469 and/or Waccamaw Boys & Girls Home of NC, PO Box 127, Lake Waccamaw, N.C. 28450-0127.
