Elray Smith, 70, of Shallotte died Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
He was born May 9, 1946 in Brunswick County the son of the late Colsby and Versie Smith.
Surviving are his two daughters, Alicia Helms (Joey) of Shallotte and Sophia Jacobs (Jiles) of Whiteville; two brothers, Bobby Smith and J.B Smith both of Shallotte; two sisters, Dora Blackmon of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Esther Tyler of Hallsboro, NC.; four grandchildren, Chelsey Tharp, Cody Danford, Shyenne Jacobs, Caden Helms.
Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the United Vision Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
