Eugene Wellington Method, Jr., of Sunset Beach, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 87.
Eugene Wellington Method, Jr. was born on August 26, 1931 in Cadillac, Michigan to the late Gene and Frances Wald Method. Eugene had two sisters, the late Margaret Nelson and the late Audrey Ralko.
He is a veteran of the US Airforce and retired Director of Sales, Education, and Training for General Motors. However, Gene’s most important and cherished job was his role as a husband and a dad. Gene was blessed with his loving wife of 35 years, Martha; sons, Eugene Method III of Glendora, CA, and Thomas Method of Norton, MA; daughter, Darlene Method of Mesa, AZ; step-sons, Karl Schneider of Dallas, TX, and Steve Schneider of Arroyo Grande, CA; step-daughter, the late Vicki Howard; and granddaughter, Anisten Method of Glendora, CA.
A mass will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church in Shallotte. The family will receive friends in Brendan Hall, following the mass.
