Obituary
Evelyn Blanche Hussey, 93, of Sunset Beach passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017.
She was born in Chelsea, MA on October 24, 1923 to the late Albert Edward and Evelyn Louise Hoffman Russell.
Evelyn had a love for her community that is rarely found today. She gave many hours as a volunteer to many local charities. Most beloved to her were Brunswick County Habitat ReStore in Ocean Isle Beach, the Calabash EMS, and Sheltered Treasures.
Evelyn was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, William Thomas Hussey.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jan Cameron of Ocala, Fl., Betty Hussey of Sunset Beach; three grandchildren, Corey Cameron, Chris Cameron, Carina Dupree; and eight great- grandchildren, Colin, Evan, Carina, Jeffrey, MaKenna Cameron, Garrett Paolino, Derick, and Courtney Dupree.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 5pm in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel Shallotte.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
