Faye Martin Killian, 89, currently of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 5, 2022. A Celebration of HER life will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 3020 Hilliard Dr., Charlotte, NC beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Ms. Killian, a native of Columbia, SC, was employed many years as a secretary on Charlotte’s Film Row. She worked for Columbia Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and the National Association of Theater Owners. She also worked as a secretary for the NC Department of Human Environment and Natural Resources, from which she retired in 1980.

Faye was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in several callings. Stake Relief Society President, Seminary Teacher, Teacher Development Teacher, and Primary, are just a few of the many places where her love to serve others continued to grow. She was a living example of the scriptures as a witness of Jesus Christ and His teachings at all times, in all things, and in all places. She knew when she was in the service of her fellow being, she was in the service of her Heavenly Father. She touched, taught, and perhaps changed many lives through her stalwart leadership, love for, and testimony of our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Ms. Killian is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Eugene Martin (father) and Mae Ella Webster (mother), her former husband, Francis Lee Killian, and one grandson, Cody Francis Lee Killian.

She is survived by her three children; Vicki Carlson (Joe) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Jerry Killian (Pam) of Rockwell, NC, and Angela Stevens (Scott) of Norwood, NC, nine grandchildren, Krista, Michael, Joshua, Chrissy, Stephen, Katie, John, Cory, and Jake; 20 great-grandchildren with the next due in June 2022.
