Florence Theresa Minell Jozak, age 73 died Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home in Supply, NC.
Florence was born December 28, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ to James and Helen Minell.
Florence and her husband Jack loved to take cruises, having been on more than 25, over the years. She enjoyed playing various card games and Mahjong. She spent most of her career in customer service for AIG Insurance. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: John “Jack” Jozak; son and his significant other: Jonathan Jozak and Katelyn of Supply; sister-in-law: Barbara Karkut (John) of Ocean Isle, NC; brother-in-law: Richard Jozak (Shelia) of Glen Rock, NJ and her special K-9 companions: Joy, Reba, and Olive.
A Celebration of Florence’s life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, 5229 Ocean Hwy W Shallotte, NC 28470. There will be a gathering following the service in a facility to be announced.
