Obituary
Florrie Annette Grainger, 60, of Shallotte passed away June 1, 2018. She was a cherished mother and grandmother who bore her suffering with grace and humility. She was an incredible example of strength and wisdom. There was nothing more important to her than her family. A true community servant, she co-founded Unlikely Angels to serve families, children, and elderly in need during the holiday season.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Smith and Beulah Esslinger, her brother, Sylvester Smith, and her sisters, Dorothy Jones, Barbara Jones, and Lottie Jean Grainger.
Surviving are her husband and caregiver, Ronald Grainger; son, Jason Grainger of Tabor City; daughters, Tina Guyton of Cerro Gordo and Jessica Grainger of Loris, SC; grandchildren, Sage, Devyn, Julian, Greenly, Autumn and one on the way.
A Funeral Service honoring her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 5, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte. Interment will be in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends are kindly invited to visitation from 5-7 PM, Monday, June 4, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte.
