Floyd Edward Dilling of Bolivia, NC, age 80 died Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Floyd was born in Idaville, IN on October 18, 1943, to Clarence and Edith Sherman Dilling.
Floyd loved the University of Indiana Basketball. He had worked as a salesman, teacher, coach, and truck driver over his career. Floyd was preceded in death by his first wife: Lucy Dilling.
He is survived by his wife: Virgie D. Dilling; son: Scott Dilling (Tammy); daughter: Theresa Komisar (Joe); grandchildren: Jami, Kyle, Nathan, Jacob, Abby, and great-grandchildren: Noah, Gracie, Luke, Ethan, Eli, Lynleigh and Peyton.
The family is planning a private service.
