Forest Leroy Gilley, 78, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died June 30, 2020.
Born in Eden, NC on June 20, 1942 he was a son of the late Dale Clyde Gilley and Essie McCormick Gilley. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Delois Willoughby, Glenda Gilley and Bill Gilley.
He was a retired long haul truck driver and a U.S Army Veteran and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
Surviving are his sons, David Gilley (Mandy) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Darron Gilley (Sara Jane) of Bladenboro, NC and Daryl Gilley (Bridget) of Eaton, IN; Brothers, Samuel Dale Gilley of Chula Vista, CA and Clyde Gilley, Jr. of Eden, NC; sisters, Elaine Land of Eden, NC and Sandra Willoughby of Lynchburg, VA; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Family services will be conducted at a later date.
